Same Streak, New Approach: Breaking Habits the Right Way

I paused, observed, and continued- without breaking my streak. However, I broke the way I used to show up for myself. Starting a new loop before the old one breaks helps me evolve every day. Redefining raises the standards, so why can't breaking the old habit create a new one?

Writing doesn't only reflect myself; it helps me explore beyond my creativity. Trying something new isn’t a choice- it’s a necessity. Challenging myself didn't let me remain predictable. More challenges, more flaws, more learnings, more improvements- but it needs more courage too.

While writing blogs, almost every day I follow the same routine- write, observe, improve. The day started with acknowledging mistakes and ended by improving them. Being in the loop was not letting me think beyond it. A few days back, I tried something different. Knowing my limitations and bars, I challenged myself.

Questioning forced me to improve and write at the same time. No more observation after completion and publishing. However, I took time publishing but didn't give up on myself. The excitement felt like raindrops from dry clouds. The next day, I was about to start my blog when a thought stopped me- let's try yesterday's way to express myself.

That was the day my question became my answer to evolve. Changing the way didn't feel hard; a challenge did it. Questions were asked, effort was raised, and I evolved every day, but neither the determination changed nor the consistency. The moment became a surreal experience for learning.

I realised discipline didn't mean doing it the same way always. It stood with me through my commitment to improve, not through my way of improving. Being better in a different way didn't change the firm hand. Same actions, different awareness.

Showing up consistently doesn't mean showing up the same way every day. Different days, different ways; expressing myself wouldn't be different. Consistency stayed- the method changed.
