What Writing Is Teaching Me About Not Needing Closure for Every Thought?

An ending isn’t a necessity, but enhancement certainly is. I recognise imperfect thoughts as my incomplete learnings, which will help me evolve later. The process I don't know, but I know where to stop to improve. Every thought, view, and opinion doesn't need closure; they could enhance anytime, anywhere. I feel happy when a story is incomplete. It makes me more curious to explore every possible outcome for it. Every possibility enlightens me with much more interesting views. Neither does it end, nor does it let knowledge end. On this journey, I started writing with small efforts to express. As I continued, those efforts got a direction, which later joined my discipline, belief, and confidence. That non-closure continuation helped me reduce my hesitation to express. At the end of every blog, I ask myself a question for improvement. It's not a closure but an entrance for enhancement. Messy thoughts help me to know each and every perspective of my experiences. It ...

How Writing Builds Self-Discipline Without You Realising It?

Is the day completed? Why is the time running slow? These were the thoughts that came after writing yesterday’s blog. I was excited to write again. That’s nothing except commitment towards the blog. This only develops when you try to be consistent in writing blogs. At the start, I was just thinking, but now I am eager to write. What changed?
Saying nothing changed would be wrong. The change I felt is that now I don’t hesitate to write my thoughts. What does hesitation do before? Hesitation is something that doesn’t let you express yourself the way you want. It’s something that doesn’t let you perform your best. When I used to write before, the feeling of judgement didn’t let me express my thoughts the way I wanted, but now it’s something I don’t feel much. Saying it’s completely gone would be wrong, but it has reduced a lot compared to the beginning. The reason you all know — consistent writing. I wrote every day whether I got delayed or not.

Nowadays, I am writing daily, which creates a routine for me. Routine, a word familiar to all of us, the word which is directly related to discipline. So, I can say I am developing self-discipline for writing blogs daily. But it didn’t come without starting. I started to write, which gave the foundation to develop this habit. Our mind prioritises things automatically when we do the same thing consistently. It helps us to do it daily whether we have motivation or not. It’s something that pushes me to write daily without any excuse. Writing has removed mood dependency to work. It gives me a positive mindset to write my thoughts. It built so much positivity that missing one day would hurt a lot.

Self-discipline is a skill which a person has to build within themselves. It’s not something that is a personality trait. You have to do hard work consistently to develop this habit. Writing blogs proves that you have to develop self-discipline to express yourself confidently.

A sportsperson trains themselves daily. They exercise and eat healthy every day. At the time of matches, it is understandable, but when there is no match, they still train themselves. That’s nothing but self-discipline which has been built over the years of training consistently. It motivates them to exercise and eat healthy daily. The end result you all know — whenever they have a match, they give their best. That’s self-discipline which gives them a positive mindset to perform their best.

Lastly, I would say that self-discipline didn’t come simply to me, but through writing blogs daily. It gives positive pressure to continue writing every day.
