What Writing Is Teaching Me About Not Needing Closure for Every Thought?

An ending isn’t a necessity, but enhancement certainly is. I recognise imperfect thoughts as my incomplete learnings, which will help me evolve later. The process I don't know, but I know where to stop to improve. Every thought, view, and opinion doesn't need closure; they could enhance anytime, anywhere. I feel happy when a story is incomplete. It makes me more curious to explore every possible outcome for it. Every possibility enlightens me with much more interesting views. Neither does it end, nor does it let knowledge end. On this journey, I started writing with small efforts to express. As I continued, those efforts got a direction, which later joined my discipline, belief, and confidence. That non-closure continuation helped me reduce my hesitation to express. At the end of every blog, I ask myself a question for improvement. It's not a closure but an entrance for enhancement. Messy thoughts help me to know each and every perspective of my experiences. It ...

How overthinking stops us from starting and how to beat it?

Hi guys, hope you are doing good in whatever fields you belong to. Today, when I am writing this blog, I thought that one problem which I personally faced before writing the blog must be shared with you all. The problem which each and everyone faces in their lifetime. This problem, which is attached to our brain, mind, thoughts—whatever you say—is overthinking.
It is a state of mind of a person in which they get trapped in a web of thoughts. Overthinking creates chaos in an individual’s mind. The thoughts do not have a base but are developed on the basis of assumptions that a person thinks of. Before starting anything new, there are some thoughts which a person develops in their mind and creates a web in which they get trapped and delay that start.
I personally felt it before starting. I was thinking about too many things; my mind was full of thoughts about what to start, how to start, whether there is anybody who would read, and what I would write. It delayed me for almost a month before writing. Later, I thought, let’s start first; we will think later on. The small effort you put in to start will act as a barrier to the infinite thoughts that revolve around in our minds.

Does action matter?
Overthinking, the word itself, has the word “over” in it, which causes you harm. To get rid of the problem of overthinking, an individual should start ignoring all kinds of thoughts that are developed by their mind on baseless assumptions.
A small action towards your goal will help you get rid of the overthinking problem. As I told earlier, I was thinking about writing, not starting it, but when I took the initiative to start writing a blog, it helped me reduce my overthinking.

What’s important to beat overthinking?
When an individual thinks, it's their own ability of creativity and imagination. Stopping thinking does not help you reduce overthinking. Overthinking is created by baseless assumptions; it has nothing to do with creativity. But stopping thinking may affect your creativity skills. An individual gets trapped in a loop of thoughts which stops them from starting.
Your small initiative towards your goal will clear all that web of thoughts which your mind has created. I wanted to know my skills in writing. I had a web of thoughts created by my mind on baseless assumptions before I published my first blog. But now I am writing this on Day 4, as the web of thoughts was cleared by the small action I took by writing on the first day.

At last, I would say that overthinking always leads to delaying things. The best way to overcome it is to take initiative towards your goal. Delay will always be a part of life if you overthink a lot. Therefore, starting and making efforts to do any work matter the most to beat overthinking.
