What Writing Is Teaching Me About Not Needing Closure for Every Thought?

An ending isn’t a necessity, but enhancement certainly is. I recognise imperfect thoughts as my incomplete learnings, which will help me evolve later. The process I don't know, but I know where to stop to improve. Every thought, view, and opinion doesn't need closure; they could enhance anytime, anywhere. I feel happy when a story is incomplete. It makes me more curious to explore every possible outcome for it. Every possibility enlightens me with much more interesting views. Neither does it end, nor does it let knowledge end. On this journey, I started writing with small efforts to express. As I continued, those efforts got a direction, which later joined my discipline, belief, and confidence. That non-closure continuation helped me reduce my hesitation to express. At the end of every blog, I ask myself a question for improvement. It's not a closure but an entrance for enhancement. Messy thoughts help me to know each and every perspective of my experiences. It ...

Discipline – necessary or not?

Hi guys, hope you all are doing well. Today’s blog is a little chitchat with you all about the learning I am getting while writing blogs. Yesterday, when I wrote about consistency, I mentioned a word — discipline; that is what I learned from writing blogs daily. You all must be wondering how important it is for us, but it is a crucial aspect required or necessary for an individual to reach their final goal.
Discipline is something you all must have read and listened to. The word discipline is easy to pronounce and read, but difficult to follow; it requires strong control and commitment. Thinking about control is the easy part, but the difficulty comes when you try to do so. The mind never wants to be in anyone’s control. When a person is disciplined, you will feel a sense of consistency in their behaviour, which makes them succeed.
It is not a shopping item that you can buy which will help you succeed, but a mindset which people have to develop within themselves. Discipline gives you the power to chase your goal easily. Whenever I thought of not writing, my mind questioned why — that is the discipline being developed in me through writing. I can say that writing is changing my mindset and improving my writing day by day. That change of mindset is developing through my commitment towards writing.
What does it exactly do?
You all must be thinking whether discipline is that necessary to achieve something. Have you ever admired any great person and wanted to be like them? Surely, most of you will say yes. Do you ever think why they are great in whatever field they are in? The reason is their commitment towards their work and the strong control they have developed to do that specific work.
That control and commitment build the discipline to do the work for their goal. That discipline develops a high level of consistency in that work, which makes them successful and great. I can say now that the best thing I learned from writing blogs is the importance of discipline to achieve goals. The habit of daily writing is developing in me, which I sensed after writing for some days. Definitely, there is some delay in writing daily, but I am sure it will be fixed over time by following discipline.

All I want to convey is that writing blogs taught me a lesson that to be consistent, you have to develop discipline within yourself. It is very hard to develop the habit of doing any work, but when it starts to develop, it gives you results you never expected. The small efforts you give to build discipline give you big wins in life.
